Two A Tea

So Friday March 2nd I decided to be an early bird ( usually I’m a night owl) and walk with my husband to get coffee and then see him off to the bus stop for work…the first part of this happened smoothly….( keep in mind that I had my dog with me, it was before 7am, still dark out, and starting to rain) So Oliver (my dog)  and I start to walk back home ( still hadn’t had any of my coffee yet because it was too hot) so we’re walking and it starts raining harder…so we’re trying to get in a furry hurry and high tail it home when WHAM! ( and not abba and…) my leg seems to be stuck in a pipe in the ground! ( a hidden pipe who’s opening was covered by grass)  I am screaming my head off the pain is unbearable! I manage to pull my leg out ( mind you my leg went into the hole to right above my knee) and all I can see is blood ( a lot of it) and skin just hanging there ( stop reading now if you’re easily queazy…pleazy ;) I’m screaming and trying to hold onto oliver and then a woman who happens to be walking her dog comes over to see what the hell is going on and that’s all I remember until the ambulance came…they rush me to the hospital and they are doing all these xrays and tests and questions, then comes the pain meds. ( yay) however the pain was so strong that not even those bad boys did the trick :(   *sad trombones*  I have a gash in my leg that made me go into shock when I finally saw it, my kneecap is all caved in and sideways, and a huge lump under my shin that I find out later is a hematoma ( blood tumor) Fun stuff huh? Still no word on my knee ( waiting for an mri) this is the WORST thing to happen to me EVER!!!!! I’m still in a crap ton of pain and can barely walk…grumble.
